A rotary, positive displacement, pump with a unique internal design incorporating eight blades with flat tips sliding in a precision machined rotor. This mechanism, unique to Plenty Mirrlees Pumps, provides for low shear, low pulse flow with high volumetric and mechanical efficiency. The design enables low or highly viscous liquids to be pumped. Robust construction ensures very low vibration, quiet running and a long service life. Designed to operate at low speeds the pump offers high resistance to wear.
Pumps are available in a variety of metallurgical combinations to suit a wide variety of liquid and plant requirements. Heating jackets for steam or oil are available.
One of the unique features available from the Plenty 2000 series pump range is its ability to operate with a variable flow, that can be controlled either manually, remotely or automatically.
 
The U2000 rotary pump is specifically designed for systems or processes where infinitely variable flow from 0-100% of the rated pumps capacity is required. The U2000 achieves this with a variety of Control Types, without the need for speed variation devices, bypass lines/loops or control valves. Our patented Constant Pressure Control (CPC) pump will operate against a closed valve.

The P2000 rotary pump is specifically designed for space constrained installations, or where a simpler belt-driven design is preferred. The P2000 rotary pump is available in two different designs :
•Inboard roller bearing configuration with single mechanical sealing for duties involving lubricating    liquids, such as Fuel Oils,Vegetable Oils, Lube Oils, and Additives.
  •Inboard plain bearing configuration with gland packing for duties involving non-lubricating liquids, such    as Molasses, Resins, and Polymers.
